Petya Stankova was selected for an internship and scholarship at the Georgiev, Todorov and Co. Law Offices in 2021. Since 2022 she is officially a part of the team as a jurisconsult.

She graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in 2021. Prior to studying at the leading Bulgarian university, she also studied Law for one year at the University of Vienna. She graduated from a language school with a German language profile.

Her professional experience begins in 2018 with an internship in a law firm by a program of the Ministry of Education and Science.

From 2019 to 2021, Petya is an intern of the Fulbright Program at Sofia District Court. Her work was related to drafting decisions and rulings on certain cases, as well as visits the courtroom.

In addition to her knowledge in the legal field, Petya also knows German and English. In 2014, she received a German language diploma (“Deutsches Sprachdiplom“), issued by the Confederation of Ministers of Education in Germany, for written and oral proficiency in German at level C1. She has also completed an English language course aimed at preparation for the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) in 2018.  Three years later she received a diploma for a completed course in legal English from the Bulgarian IDLO Alumni Association.

During her studies, Petya participated in various extracurricular initiatives and competitions, including “Be the Devil’s Advocate Workshop“, mock judicial proceedings, the National Competition in Civil and Commercial Law “Christian Takov“, etc.

In Georgiev, Todorov & Co., she mainly focuses on commercial and contract law, as well as administrative law and litigation.
