On the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the resumption of the work of the Supreme Administrative Court (SAC), our law firm received another recognition for its activity in the field of law making.

Our managing partner Ivan Todorov was one of the three individuals awarded by the SAC for his contribution to the administrative legislation. At a formal ceremony were awarded the three speakers of the working group for the creation of the Administrative Procedure Code (APC) – the judge of SAC and constitutional judge – Georgi Angelov, the judge of SAC Alexander Elenkov and our managing partner. The three speakers wrote the APC with the proactive assistance of Prof. Kino Lazarov. Prof. Todorov has a major contribution as an initiator of the changes in the APC in 2018, actively supported by our lawyer Maria Derelieva. Together with the Chairman of the Supreme Administrative Court, our two lawyers attended all hearings of the Committee on Legal Affairs of the National Assembly on the adoption of the significant changes.

A former member of our law firm was also awarded – Alexander Arabadjiev, currently a judge at the Court of Justice of the European Union and chairman of a panel there (he had previously been a judge at the Supreme Court of Cassation and the Constitutional Court).

A special award was established after the name of Prof. Kino Lazarov – academic supervisor of our managing partner.
