Nikolay Zamyarkov graduated with honours from the Faculty of Law of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in 2024.

In September 2025, he joined Georgiev, Todorov & Co. Law Offices as a legal counsel, and since July 2026 he has been a member of the Sofia Bar Association.

Prior to joining the firm, Nikolay worked as a legal assistant at another law firm from 2022 to 2025, where his practice focused on contract law, property law, civil and administrative litigation, employment law, and commercial law.

He was also a Fulbright intern at the Sofia District Court from 2023 to 2025. During the internship, he worked closely with judges and assisted in the preparation of draft judicial acts, including judgments and rulings.

In 2022, Nikolay participated in a civil law moot court competition bringing together students from leading law faculties across Bulgaria.

In 2023 and 2024, he participated in the National Civil and Commercial Law Competition, the largest competition of its kind in Bulgaria, which includes a preliminary selection round for participants. In 2024, Nikolay’s team received one of the competition’s most prestigious awards – Best Statement of Claim.

From 2022 to 2025, he was a member of the Teodor Piperkov Law Club, one of the most respected student legal organisations in Bulgaria, which regularly organises events and initiatives on a wide range of legal topics.

At Georgiev, Todorov & Co., Nikolay’s practice focuses primarily on property law, spatial planning and development, administrative law and litigation, as well as commercial matters.
