Tsvetelina Mileva graduated from the Law Faculty of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in 2019 with honors. Her excellent grades at university and her experience as an intern in another law firm, were key factors for choosing her for the scholarship program in Georgiev, Todorov & Co Law Offices. She worked in the law firm as a legal advisor for over an year, and since September 2021, she is a junior attorney-at-law.

Among Tsvetelina’s interests are commercial law, insurance law, private international law, labor law and legal proceedings. She is fluent in English and has knowledge of German.

During her studies, she has participated in a competition for coursework on General Theory of Law on the topic “Perceivedness – an element on the subjective side of the offense or a character of the offender?“.

In February, 2020 she was awarded a Certificate for undergoing a training on “Up-to-date issues of Insurance law”. She acquired practical knowledge in the field, particularly connected to the application of General terms and conditions in Insurance contracts in the light of the latest legislative changes, as well as some practical aspects of insurer’s refusal of compensation if insurance events occur.

Tsvetelina’s professional experience began with an internship at another law firm as part of the university program, monitored by the Ministry of Education and Science. Upon completing the program, she continued working at the same law firm as an intern. She has been involved in the preparation of documentation for a diverse range of legal transactions, drafting of claims and preliminary contracts, preparation of documents for the registration of companies and trademarks, transfer of company shares, provision of legal opinion and translation of documents.

At Georgiev, Todorov & Co. Tsvetelina focuses on the establishment of companies, the acquisition and transfer of shares, transformation of companies, competition law, civil and administrative procedure. She has also been involved in the preparation of complaints before the European Court of Human Rights, matters related to labor law, enforcement proceedings, preparation of documents in relation to the initiation and development of court proceedings.

Since 2021, Tsvetelina is a member of the Sofia Bar Association.
